Violence broke out between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s supporters and protesters demonstrating against his visit to the US, on the Sheridan Circle, near the residence of the Turkish Ambassador to the US, Washington DC, Tuesday.

According to reports nine people were injured in the incident, one of which was seriously injured. The Sheridan Circle was subsequently closed off by the authorities.
