Matryoshka dolls, known in the West as Russian dolls, with portraits of US presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were in great demand prior to the US presidential election according to Russian retailers in Moscow, Tuesday.

Souvenir stores offered the traditional Russian dolls that conceal other dolls inside, with Trump’s doll containing previous Republican presidents including Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon, and Hillary Clinton’s doll containing Democratic leaders.
